"Esther Paguio" on "C" Shirt.

Batch 4 Encounter, Square Ranch

Ate Esther went home last month, to attend our JIL Manila 30th anniversary. To most especially those who are praying with her...ate Esther is a woman of faith! When she attended the Encounter (Batch 4), she was going on her chemotherapy and treatment. Notice her hair at the photo, she was wearing at that time a hair piece. Her physical condition was not a hindrance to join every church activities here in Toronto. May it be a Bible Study, Birthday Parties, Sunday Services, Outdoor activities, Seminars, and even to retreats and encounters. She is an active worker of the Ushering Ministry of the First Service (JIL Toronto 1).

Ate Esther was diagnosed 3 years ago when she first arrived to Canada with breast cancer. And last month, she was told that she needs another treatments. She decided to go home to the Philippines to spend her time with her relatives and friends and with the desire in her heart to share the good news of salvation to them. Before she left, she told us, she wants to serve the Lord in JIL Bataan. She said, she is not scared to die. She is ready to meet the Lord! Ate Esther went home declaring what the promise of God in her life. She declares "I am healed!" She went home with no status because of her physical - medical condition.

Last Sunday, we had a double birthday celebration at our home-the birthday of Bro. Tom and yours truly. Before closing our activities, we received news through her sister that they received a letter from the Immigration that Ate Esther was granted her "Open Permit" here in Canada. Isn't God an amazing God! An awesome God! An answering God! The God of impossibilities! (Lk 18:27)
At the time of the good news, ate Esther was still in Manila joining thousands and thousands of people celebrating the JIL 30th Glorious Anniversary!

God works in His ways...miraculously! He moves in mysterious ways! (Jn 13:7)

Praise the Lord! All the Glory, Honor and Power and Majesty belongs to Living God!
